5 Bridge

5 Bridge is the name for the beautiful architecture that represents the escape from my 9-5 and the passage into my “life”. We call it the 5 Bridge, because it is the bridge we cross at 5pm, homeward bound. And in my mind, the image above is my preferred mode of transport.

So, welcome to 5 Bridge.

My name is Aaron and I will be your friendly neighbourhood blogger. I like finance and tech mostly, so expect a lot of posts about those things. And, although it is against the prevailing blogging wisdom to have a broad spectrum blog, that is pretty much what you should expect here. I like main stream media and celebrity news, sports – both regulation and extreme, I like health and fitness and I am not averse to blog advertising and accepting money to chat about people’s service, product or website, so feel free to email me if you would like a paid review. But, I will warn you, I stand by all my posts, so I will be honest.

Just a quick bit of background about who is doing the blogging, I have a college and grad school background in finance and business and have worked in the finance industry all my working life. I am 31.

My wife and I have a small family, with 3 beautiful boys, a cat, a dog, 5 chickens and a duck. I used to play baseball pretty well and I love to snow board.

Finance and Tech are my passions, I have industry contacts in both, and will be utilizing them to bring some inside information about trends, R&D, news, Hot Tips and commercially relevant economic stuff.

I am sure there will be lots of other meaningless information that you will uncover about me as we progress along this 5 Bridge journey.

I hope to post daily, and welcome any and all feedback and comments. I am a big boy so do not be bashful. But, I expect everyone to treat each other with respect and I have a zero tolerance to flaming and spam. Those comments will be deleted without question.
