What is a blog?

A blog or a weblog is a website that is registered by an individual and he/she gets his/her own website to maintain according to his/her preferences. The term blog can be used as a verb too, which would suggest that the user is using the blog and inputting things in his/her website.

Similarly, there are photoblogs made up of photos, sketchblogs made of sketches, etc. The content can be different and unique in a blog, and accordingly, it gets its rank in the search engines.
