Mice have been known to be pesky little rodents that can cause a great deal of harm in an individual’s home. As much, mice have been known to carry diseases, which can be deadly if a family pet were to kill and eat the rodent. For those that are looking to catch mice, yet not kill them, there are humane mouse traps that are available for purchase.

With a humane mouse trap, many people have been able to effectively get rid of the mice that are in their home without killing them. This is done by often placing food or water into a container that the mice will have to crawl in to get to. Typically, anything that will attract the rodents are known to be quite helpful. Once the mouse goes for the food, they will walk across a spring activated platform, which will trigger a small trap door behind them to close, which will keep them in the humane mouse trap. There are usually very small air holes that are in the traps, which will keep the mice alive until they are released into the wild once more.
