There are a few pretty easy ways to cut some of the expenses down on your monthly budget. But, no-one wants to talk about cutting costs. I am certainly a much bigger fan of increasing the amount of money you bring home via a salary raise, taking on a second job or selling some second hand good son ebay, than getting into cost cutting.
But, sometimes it makes sense to examine whether you budget is as healthy as it could be. I saw this good post today about an easy cost to cut on the household budget, namely the ever increasing cable bill. If you can kick the habit of watching too much TV, which is obviously fostered by cable, then you will not just save yourself money on the cable bill, but free up some extra time to invest in other money making habits and hobbies.
