Saw a very funny video . It’s called ‘Instant Fame’ and it’s some guy called Eric Schwartz aka Smooth-e basically spoofing the song ‘Chocolate Rain’ and I think he’s spoofing
youtube too. Sprayed gold and with the tin man’s hat on (from the Wizard of Oz) he sings about ‘Instant Fame’ in a ridiculous deep voice. Quality! Definitely a fun one to share. At first I thought is he for real? Then I got the joke! Like on the Chocolate Rain video he has a message flash up on-screen only his says “I move away from the mic to check my views” and keeps jerking his head about like the original singer. Between shots of him singing (and needing to be restarted with an oilcan like a robot/the tinman) are clips spoofing funny animals (a skateboarding goldfish?), a man falling off a chair and tazering his privates by mistake. “Be real fat and wave your light saber, like your nuts got shocked by a tazer! Instant Fame” I looked him up and apparently Schwartz is an American comedian. The original song has had over 4million hits and I reckon “Instant Fame” deserves even more. Very funny. Can’t stop singing it
