Recently, one of my friends got himself in to a little bit of trouble with the law, nothing serious, just stupid college kid stuff.. but it got me to thinking about what the potential impact of said stupidity might be on his life, if he ends up with a criminal record..

I started to wonder about the potential impact if might have on:

1. Getting a good job after college
2. Getting a home loan for less than 20% p.a
3. His ability to become a member of certain professional and social associations and clubs..

The consequences for one drunken night of silliness, which may in fact be quite harmless, can be far reaching. And, I think that families should not take any chances when it comes to Misdemeanor & DUI Defense
