While I was at it (talking about holidays..) I thought I should really link up the holiday option that came in a close second this year, and might get the nod next year.

We very nearly went for a nice Kailua ocean front rental for our addiction to summer time Hawaii vacations.

There are so many great spots in Hawaii, and we all love the beach. Well.. we all love the stark change in environment we get when we adventure to beach towns. And in a similar way, in winter we love the dramatic difference in surroundings we get when we travel to the snow fields. I think it is these changes that make the holidays seem longer and like you had a real break.
