Polyphasic Sleep
Sleep is something I have been thinking about lately.
I have started my own online business in the last 3 months. Mainly affiliate marketing. I am loving it. I can tell you that much. But, I am also finding that it is an up hill battle getting everything done when you are a one man show.
At the moment, I am working 12-16 hours a day. And the biggest problem I am having is the need for sleep. Not the not getting enough, but the sheer fact that my body just cannot push through, and I have to get at least 4 hours every day.
So, I was very interested to read Steve Pavlina’s experiments with polyphasic sleep. This is something I have given some serious thought to trying, without actually having a name to put to it. I have thought about it in terms of “power” naps. Just taking 20 minutes here and there to try and get my body to refresh a bit, rather than having to take a block of 4 hours, like a hard refresh..
I was happy to stumble on this post of Steve’s because I can use it like a bit of a manual, even though his findings were that it did not really work very well for him.
